The Flowmeter Retrofit Kit is an optional upgrade for older water source C-Series units that used a paddle flow switch on the source loop. The upgrade removes practical maximum flow limitations and provides greater resilience against no- and low-flow conditions on the source loop.

It can be retrofit on interior or exterior pipes to the heat pump. Systems with source side pressures above 150 psig static pressure can use the kit plug to replace an existing paddle switch for improved pressure resistance.

Units installed with limited clear pipe space may choose to replace the existing paddle switch and tee with a short length of straight pipe to provide a mounting location for the new flowmeter.

The new flowmeter will wire to existing terminals in the heat pump.
